Cybersecurity and Data Privacy: The Legal Perspective presented by John T. Hicks.
Abstract
Looking at cybersecurity and data privacy through the legal lens. Why everyone within the company, from technicians and IT security to the C-Suite, must know what their responsibilities and obligations are. We will discuss the rapidly changing interconnected landscape of data privacy and cybersecurity and how it implicates everyone including global companies and mom and pop stores.
Speaker's Biography.
Attorney with proven experience in counseling clients, from individuals to small businesses, through their toughest situations. Unique skill set, as a Marine Corps veteran and as a licensed paramedic, that enables me to think well outside of the box to solve problems and come up with innovative solutions. Strong expertise in privacy and cyber security laws as well as litigation.
